The project is expected to be awarded Maybe tomorrow.** contract documents entitled City of Calhoun: Fire Station Administration Building Renovation Bid #2024-00316 (drawings and project manual dated May 30, 2023); authored by Gregg Sims, Architect; P.O. Box 219, 304 N. Selvidge Street; Dalton, GA 30720 (Telephone 706-226- 5776). All questions must be submitted by email to Margaret Boyd, Director of Purchasing at maboyd@calnet-ga.net. Responses will be shared by addenda and emailed to those requesting a bid packet. Questions will be received until 5:00pm on Friday, August 4, 2023. The last addendum will be released by 2:00pm on Tuesday, August 8, 2023. B. Substitutions of products (e.g., materials, equipment, etc.) other than those specified will only be allowed if approved before the bid date. Bidders may request a substitution in writing to the Architect during bid phase before 5:00pm on Friday, August 4, 2023. Approval of substitutions will be submitted by Addenda to all plan holders. Any substitutions submitted during construction will not be considered for approval. 5. BONDING A. Bid Bond: Bids for the General Contract shall be accompanied by a bid bond written in the form of AIA Documents A310 (Current Edition) in the amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid. B. Performance and Payment Bonds: Bidder shall agree to provide Performance and Payment Bonds
