The Board wishes to prequalify Contractors for HVAC projects (which may include are not limited to, heating and cooling units, unit ventilators, boilers, rooftop units, heat pumps and related electrical) in various schools within the Board's jurisdiction on an as required basis, subject to the conditions herein. Tenders for these projects will be issued to those Contractors prequalified through this process during the term of the prequalification. This prequalification will be effective September 1, 2023 for a three (3) year period. The Term of the Contract may be extended, at the sole discretion of the Owner, for two (2) additional one (1) year term(s), with a possible Contract end date of August 31, 2028. There is no obligation on the Owner to extend any Contract. Should the Owner decide to extend the Contract, such extension shall be on the same terms and conditions of the original Contract. Project values will range from $25,000 to $2,000,000.00. Further requests for prequalification will not be published during this period. The Board reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to review the prequalified list on an annual basis and may add or remove Contractors. Contractors who have been prequalified or who are currently preforming work for the Board must also respond to this request. Contractors that do not participate in this prequalification process or who are not subsequently approved through this process will be excluded from bid opportunities during the term of this prequalification with the project values indicated above. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
