Renovation of a water / sewer project in Palm Bay, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

Rehabilitate an existing 1,000,000-gallon, pre-stressed concrete ground storage tank. The diameter of the tank is 100 feet. The sidewall depth is 10 feet. The tank shall only be out of service for a maximum period of 75 consecutive calendar days during the rehabilitation. The work under this contract includes, but is not limited to the following: o Pressure wash and clean the interior and exterior of the existing ground storage tank to allow for inspection by the OWNER and ENGINEER. o Repair the exterior wall of ground storage tank, including: o Cracks - approximately 200 LF o Repair interior wall of ground storage tank, including: o Cracks - approximately 200 LF o Repair existing interior roof dome of ground storage tank, including: o Cracks - approximately 200 LF o Spalls - approximately 100 SF E. Miscellaneous work, including: o Backfill foundation where concrete spalling is exposed. o Replace roof access hatch hardware. o Surface prep and re-gel coat dome access hatch. o Rout cracks and apply repair mortar on precast overflows. o Replace / repair loose overflow screens & missing vent screens. o Clean corroded steel ties with wire brush and apply epoxy sealant. o Replace gaskets at both manways. o Repair loosely anchored standoff supports at inlet pipe. o Exterior ladder replacement to meet current OSHA standards. F. Prepare and apply a new coating system to the following items: o Tank exterior walls and dome concrete/shotcrete. o Tank interior exposed pipe and fittings. o Tank interior dome ceiling and 3 feet down the interior wall from the ceiling.
