Reference Number 0000252415 Question Acceptance Deadline 2023/08/01 03:00:00 PM EDT The City of Ottawa is looking to undertake a four-season waste composition study of collected garbage (including Special Consideration Program waste), bulkies and organics from curbside properties, multi-residential properties and Yellow Bag Program participants as well as organics from Green Bins in Schools Program participants over a one (1) year period. The Contractor will collect the waste, transport to a City provided facility for sorting and documentation. The Contractor will provide the City with a report for each quarterly waste audits (4 in total) plus a final report with the culminative results, including an assessment of progress towards waste diversion targets and an assessment of opportunities to increase diversion rates for each Program. A one-time waste composition audit will also need to be done for three-stream on-street waste receptacles which will include a separate standalone report.
