Renovation of a mixed-use development in Omaha, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

**As of September 15, 2023, all bids rejected. No rebid date determined yet. The work called for in these Bid Documents includes the removal and replacement of select hollow metal doors, miscellaneous painting of hollow metal doors and frames and providing new access control equipment including card readers, door controllers, door position switches, wiring, licenses and programming for select doors. The work also includes providing a new video intercom system including door stations and interior stations. The performance of the Work shall commence upon receipt by Contractor of written notice to proceed from District. A notice to proceed will not be issued prior to execution of the Contract between the District and the Contractor, and in any event, not prior to SEPTEMBER 7, 2023. Substantial Completion of the Work shall be achieved not later than JULY 15, 2024. Final Completion shall be achieved not later than thirty (30) days after Substantial Completion is achieved. The District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or any part thereof and to waive any and all technicalities and irregularities and award the contract based on its determination of the best interests of the District. An original certified check or cashiers check payable to the Board of Education or satisfactory original Bid Bond executed by the bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BOND. If the amount of the Contractors Contract exceeds $10,000, the Contractor shall furnish within ten (10) days of the award of the Contract a Contractors Performance, Labor and Material Payment Bond for the full and faithful completion of the work required by the Contract Documents in a sum equal to the full amount of the Contract price executed by a corporate bonding company licensed to transact such business in the State of Nebraska and acceptable to the District. Question Deadline 08/03/2023 at 5:00 PM CT Questions regarding the Bid Documents and the bid procedures and requirements must be submitted by email on or before by Responses to questions submitted will be provided to all identified potential respondents, without indicating who submitted the question. The Project consists of work related to the Security Access Control and select Exterior Door Upgrades throughout the school. 1. The following is a general description of the Work within this bid package. a. Removal and replacement of select exterior hollow metal doors and hardware. b. Provide new access control equipment including card readers, door controllers, door position switches, wiring, licenses and programming for select doors. Provide new video intercom system including door stations and interior stations.
