Renovation of a mixed-use development in Surrey, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
BC Housing is looking for a contractor to perform the building envelope repair/ reinforcement work at two buildings. Tellier Tower and the Oasis. Tellier Tower is located on 16 East Hastings Street and the Oasis is located on 40 East Hastings Street in Vancouver. The two buildings are separated by the Downtown East Side Market which will be vacant by end of August, 2023. Work is to be anticipated to start in September, 2023 and be completed by December, 2023. Building permit is anticipated to be issued prior to construction start. The scope of work at the Tellier Tower is, but not limited to: Replacement of the East lower roof assembly Provide and install fall protection on the East lower roof Remove existing graffiti on the East elevation and re-identify spalled concrete sections Remove existing plaster/parging on East elevation Repair existing structural joints on East elevation concrete walls Repair existing spalled concrete sections on East elevation Prepare concrete surface and apply new elastomeric paint/ coat on East elevation The scope of work at the Oasis is, but not limited to: Remove the exiting graffiti. Repair the concrete block wall as directed by the consultant. Clean and apply new elastomeric paint/coating on the exterior walls
