The work to be performed shall consist of repairs to the bridge on South Brandywine Avenue as described more fully in subparagraphs 1.b through 1.f below (hereinafter, the "Project") in the Borough of Modena, Chester County, Pennsylvania (hereinafter, the "Borough") due to damage sustained during a flood event. b. Place and compact ten (10) tons of clean stone underneath exposed sidewalk and within all voids on both sides of the bridge. i. Please specify the type of stone to be used; should be PennDOT approved consistent with PennDOT Publication 408, Bulletin 15. c. Reset large stones on the south side of the bridge further up onto the embankment in order to protect the embankment. d. Reset landscape ties at the bus shelter. e. Place one (1) ton of river rock around the bus shelter to replace rocks lost during the flood. i.
