Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Modena, Pennsylvania. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a residential development; for the construction of a residential development; for site work for a residential development; and water / sewer project.
The Borough of Modena is soliciting proposals from qualified project management firms to work with the Borough, the Borough's Engineer for the project and its subcontractors, and the Demolition/Construction Contractor on the Modena Borough Reconstruction Project which generally consists of the following: demolition and total reconstruction of the block of row homes located along Meredith Court, containing 10 residences, and the elevation of utilities within a pump station located adjacent to the west branch of the Brandywine Creek. The Borough will engage the services of an Engineer and its subcontractors to design plans to acquire, relocate, elevate and/or retrofit existing structures, including repetitive loss properties located in flood hazard areas. The contract awarded will be for a term which will commence with the award of the initial Contract and terminates on the date the final Certificate for Payment is issued which is estimated to be approximately 2 years to final completion. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
