Removal ofexisting hydrants and/or hydrants service and replacement, responsible for all markings, excavation, proper dewatering removal and proper disposal of backfill & all other materials The Town of Saugus Department of Public Works is seeking to contract with a professional Contractor is to provide replacement of hydrants within the water distribution system. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, permits, and supervision required for the job. All work to be done under this contract shall include the furnishing of all labor, material, equipment, and permits necessary to perform the work, including the attachments hereto. Contractor shall schedule operations so as not to interfere with the publics use of the maintenance areas. Contractor shall conduct its operations so as to provide the maximum safety for the public, and to offer the least possible obstruction and inconvenience to the public, or disruption to the peace and quiet of the area around which the services are performed Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000.
