Reference Number 0000325692 The Arapahoe Library District (Library District) is seeking proposals from qualified, reliable vendors to provide snow removal. These services will start on October 1, 2023, and end on April 30, 2024. The Library District is offering a 5-year contract with two 1-year renewals. Continuation of the contract beyond the initial period is a prerogative of the Library District and not a right of the vendor(s). Renewals will be made only when such continuation is clearly in the best interest of the Library District. Snow is to be plowed or removed from parking lots, roadways, sidewalks, handicap areas, fire hydrants, and other areas where patrons and staff use as egress of travel. Snow should be piled in locations specified, that will not inhibit traffic, occupy parking spaces, or handicap spaces that are used by patrons and staff. Relocating or removal of snow in incorrectly piled locations to be completed at contractor's expense. EPA Certified ecofriendly ice melt. (See attachment B) Ice-melt to be approved by the Facility Manager or authorized ALD representative before purchase or use. The Library District reserves the right to reject any proposal for any reason.
