The scope of work includesthe reroof of an approximately 1,300 square foot existing building located at 200 Round Bar Circle, Huntsville, AL 35763. The contractor shall furnish allsupervision, labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment and transportation necessary to perform the work called for under this contract in a timely, safe, and professional manner. Bids will be accepted only from qualified General Contractors licensed by the State of Alabama. Only bids of such Contractors who are licensed prior to the date of the bid opening will be considered. The bids will be opened in the Huntsville Utilities Purchasing Conference Room located at 112 Spragins Street Huntsville, AL 35801, at the date and time referenced above. A cashier's check or a bid bond payable to the City of Huntsville, Alabama, d/b/a/ Huntsville Utilities for an amount not less than 5% of the contractor's bid, but in no event more than $10,000.00, will be required to accompany each contractor's bid. A performance bond, a payment bond, a maintenance bond and proof of insurance will be required prior to execution of the contract.
