Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Beaumont, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.
The City of Beaumont is upgrading our Early Learning Child Care (ELCC) located in the Ken Nichol Regional Recreation Centre (KNRRC) for permitted occupancy. The services of a General Contractor are required to install a sprinkler/fire alarm system and complete additional building adjustments to achieve required fire ratings as per approved architectural drawings. The work includes, but is not limited to: .1. Reconfiguring the exit paths in the basement by modifying existing doors and/or adding new doors, complete with new metal handrails in the existing stairwell. This work includes modifying the existing life safety components. .2. Removal of an area of basement ceiling to increase the existing fire rating between floors and reinstalling the ceiling. .3. Minor reconfiguring and balancing of the basement HVAC. .4. Reconfiguring the exit paths on the main floor by modifying existing doors and/or adding new doors.
