Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Beaumont, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The Citys central park, currently referred to as Centre-Ville Park, is situated at the southwest corner of the intersection of 50 Street and 52 Avenue in Beaumont. A major commercial property borders the site to the west and south. This site has been used for annual events, City programming, pop-up vendors and casual park use, but is the site of a former gas station and the site has not been improved upon substantially since its demolition. This project is intended to provide hard and soft landscape areas with furnishings for daily use, and grassed areas for regular city and community events and programming. The asphalt parking area to the south will be reduced to accommodate some parking. Site access is open on 3 sides, but laydown areas will need to be confirmed following tender award. The Work to be undertaken for this project involves but is not limited to: .1. Site Construction Fencing .2. Existing surface and fixtures removal .3. Site preparation .4. Earthworks and grading .5. Decorative concrete paving with optional sandblasting .6. Granular walkways .7. Site furnishings .8. Landscaping – shrubs, turf, and trees
