Develop infrastructure requirement models and projected site locations for the city to meet its 10-minute fire response time for current and future development years Develop infrastructure requirement models for the City, for its RCMP and Municipal Enforcement; including options for joint locations for current and future development years; Develop staffing models for Municipal Enforcement based on similar municipalities and projected growth for the City. This shall include admin support to the division; • Develop staffing models for the Fire Service to include the path to 24hr coverage based on current and future growth of the City; • Develop Risk assessment for the current fire service and process to achieve maximum gradings for residential and commercial fire insurance rating; Develop a methodology of estimating costing for each level of service and budget implications for operating and capital budgets to include staffing, infrastructure, land acquisitions, apparatus, and any other equipment related to providing the desired level of service; and Develop a methodology of estimating funding options for each level of service and budget implications for operating and capital budgets to include projected future tax implications, emergency service levies, grant, and other funding opportunities at the Provincial and Federal level.
