Reference Number 0000252525 Question Acceptance Deadline 2023/07/27 12:00:00 PM EDT Bid Intent Deadline 2023/07/28 12:00:00 PM EDT The successful Service Provider will: Prepare and execute a contract for this project and will commence work on this project upon execution of such contract by the NBJGAC. Closely and expeditiously with the Airport Manager for the purpose of directing and completing this project. Use its own qualified and experienced personnel to conduct this project, unless expertise in a specialized field is required. If specialized expertise is required, the Service Provider will subcontract and pay for such services. Conduct an obstacle limitation surface assessment of the entire North Bay Jack Garland Airport's physical characteristics in accordance with Transport Canada's TP312 4th and 5th editions; covering current applications and future prospects/processes. Conduct this assessment for Rwys 08/26, 18/36, 13/31 and associated surfaces Identify techniques and or technologies used for the survey such as theodolite, aerial or ground base lidar, aerial photography and GPS to improve processes. Perform the assessment with the requirement of maintaining all levels of service identified in the Airport Operation Manual (AOM) for each of the runways. Identify each penetration obstacle such as brush, trees, buildings, towers, etc. by Latitude and Longitude and include incursion value (as they relate to the appropriate TP312 standard). Review current airport processes for effectiveness and accuracy. Provide 2 days minimum onsite training for appropriate operations staff using the airport's laser range finder, and recommending any process improvements to incorporate new technologies or applications that the airport can utilize internally for future annual assessments. The Service Provider will deliver a final report, including all packages that have been developed, in hard copy and electronic format.
