This project consists of installing non-residential commercial rated IP Power over Ethernet (POE) security camera system consisting of the following components. All cameras are to be non-residential commercial rated, vandal resistant and ingress protection (IP) rated for protection against dust and water intrusion. If progress payments are provided for in the bid and the contract amount exceeds ten thousand dollars ($10,000), the successful bidder shall furnish an original faithful performance bond and a duplicate copy in a sum not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount payable under the contract. The term of the resulting agreement is anticipated to be effective from December 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024. The Contractor shall comply with all prevailing wage rate requirements and shall be subject to all restrictions and penalties in accordance with California Labor Code sections 1770 - 1780. Contractor shall forfeit to the State as liquidated damages, One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) for each calendar day, or option thereof, which is delayed beyond the established work schedule, to be deducted from any payments due or to become due to the Contractor. In granting small/micro business preference, no bid price will be reduced by more than five percent (5%).
