As of September 26, 2023, the project was awarded to Pueblo West Metropolitan District, with an awarded amount of $643,545.61. Reference Number 0000325813 The project consists of but is not limited to the replacement of an existing waterline with construction of a new 4-inch C900 PVC waterline for both the Well #4 and Well #7 heads. Both projects will consist of placing new waterline via both open trench methods and boring through right of way for all road crossings. Bores will be 4-inch HDPE pipe (DR17 with minimum I.D. of 3.94-inches) with coupling transitions back to C900 pipe. The project also includes replacement of existing submersible well pumps for both Well #4 and Well #7. In addition, the project work consists of installing vaults, manholes, valves, tie-ins, and appurtenances, erosion control, earthwork, and all appurtenances as specified and required for a complete and functional system. The project will install approximately 2400 linear feet of new 4-inch C900 PVC waterline from the Well #7 head and approximately 2630 linear feet of new 4-inch C900 PVC waterline from the Well #4 head. The base-bid for the project assumes open trench construction for the majority of the pipelines.
