Site work for a water / sewer project in Fort Erie, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Town of Fort Erie is requesting the tender for construction of the Glenny Drain in the Town of Fort Erie. The project area is located between Con 7 Lot 10, Niagara River to Broken Front in Niagara River Fronting Upper End of Grand Island Lot 19. The proposed work includes half bottom cleanout of ditch, power brushing and the construction of Newbury weirs on the existing Glenny Municipal Drain at various locations. The work will be done using conventional excavating equipment (excavator, power brusher, etc.) Temporary straw bale sediment traps will be constructed at specific locations for sediment control. Rip Rap is to be installed at key locations to prevent erosion. Spoils from the cleanout will be either leveled, piled or hauled away from the site. Approximately 1,925m of half-bottom ditch cleanout, 4,083m of 10m wide power brushing along the drain is anticipated. A low flow channel will be constructed within the ditch cross section. Question Deadline 08/03/2023 at 2:00 PM ET All tenders must be accompanied by a Digital Agreement to Bond and a Digital Bid Bond in the amount of $25,000.00 payable to The Corporation if the Town of Fort Erie. Award is subject to final approval.
