Question Deadline 08/11/2023 at 5:00 PM ET The last day for questions is 5 business days following the non-mandatory pre-bid meeting, by the close of business, All questions should be submitted in writing to the Division of Purchases and Supplies: Email: Purchasing@clevelandohio.gov Fax: (216) 664-2177 The project involves the open-cut replacement of a combined sewer with approximately 600 feet on Bellaire Road from West 130 Street to Grimbsy Avenue, installation of a parallel combined relief sewer approximately 1,500 feet along Bellaire Road from Grimsby Avenue to Leeila Avenue, and the replacement of a combined sewer with approximately 1,100 feet on Leeila Avenue from Bellaire Road to Wanda Avenue. Field leakage tests for the new 48" parallel relief sewer on Bellaire Road shall be performed and the results provided to the City. Cost of leakage tests should be included in the pertinent sewer items. If tests show pipe failure, corrective actions and re-testing will be performed at no cost to the City. Test options include, air test per ASTM C-828 and hydrostatic test per ASTM C-969. Based on contract execution by October 2023, construction and restoration shall be 100% complete by June 2024.
