The Texas Department of Public Safety is requesting for ADA compliant modular ramp and stairs for the DPS training Facility in Williamson County. Existing stair and ramp is constructed of PT wood which is deteriorating and in need of replacement. Procure and install new modular ADA compliant stair and ramp. 1. Removal of existing stair and ramp. 2. Demo existing sidewalk at new ramp landing. 3. Install new ADA compliant modular stair and ramp. 4. Install new concrete ramp landing. Question Deadline: 07/26/2023 at 5:00 PM CT For a contract in excess of $100,000.00 a performance bond will be executed in the amount of the contract conditioned upon the faithful performance of the work in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents. Said bond will be solely for the protection of the state. For a contract in excess of $25,000.00 a payment bond will be executed in the amount of the contract, solely for the protection of all claimants supplying labor and material. Gov't Code Chapter 2258. Prevailing wage rates pursuant to the requirements of this statute. If applicable, DPS has ascertained the attached rates located as an exhibit are paid to various classifications of workers in the locality of this project. DPS reserves the right to reject any one Bid or all Bids or portions of Bids submitted in response to this solicitation. DPS reserves the right to withdraw this solicitation at any time for any reason. DPS reserves the right to award no contract and to solicit additional Bids at a later time.
