Artspace and the City of Salida are seeking architectural and engineering services for design of an apartment project on a .46 acre parcel in downtown Salida. The project is intended to provide affordable rental units for the local workforce including, but not limited to, artists and creatives working in and around the downtown area. The project will be limited to a total of 19 residential units and up to 2 stories (max. 35 feet) per zoning regulations. Some common exhibition and/or performance space may also be incorporated into the project. The successful firm will work under the direction of Artspace towards development of the project, with the additional guidance of City of Salida staff and Council.
