Site work for a water / sewer project in Annapolis, Maryland. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Storm drains, inlets, and other stormwater facilities are in need of repair due to age. Some corrugated metal pipes have fallen apart in the ground, and many concrete pipe joints have failed and need replacement. Some manholes and inlets need rebricking. This is an ongoing infrastructure project. Sections will be replaced, repaired, or retrofitted based on field inspections and outfall risk assessment by a City Owner's Rep. The Owner's Rep will provide the assessment and be consistent with the NPDES MS4 permit requirements. This project is included in the city’s fy 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program. As of August 6, 2024, further details regarding construction and completion timeline have not been released. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
