Renovation of an educational facility in Minden, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of August 22nd, 2023 - no award is expected to be made for this project until the September 11th, 2023 School Board Meeting. The project consists of interior build-out of a new Barber School space within the existing J.E. Harper Pathways to Excellence Center building at 618 Germantown Road in Minden. The project is anticipated to be bid as a lump sum Base Bid. 1. Minor demolition of interior finishes, cabinetry, ceiling, lights and modification of existing HVAC ductwork in the construction area. 2. Construction of new metal stud/drywall partitions and furrings, millwork, doors, frames and hardware, suspended ceiling, painting, marker and bulletin boards, plumbing lines and fixtures, HVAC revisions, lighting and electrical, alarm and signal work. 3. Protection and clean-up of adjacent areas within the building. This job is to be completed within 150 calendar days. This is a Davis Bacon project and certified payroll reporting will be required weekly.
