Site work for a parking garage in Arlington, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a parking garage.
The 2.4Welectrical line is a redundant medium voltage underground electrical line feeding a portion of the reservation. Currently, the 2.4kV electrical line, which has failed performance testing, is at the end ofits lifespan and is no longer reliable for its intended purpose. The goal of this project is to remove the existing electrical cables from the existing conduit, install new cables through the existing 3.5” conduit, repair existing infrastructure (conduits, boxes, etc.) as necessary, install new infrastructure (conduits, boxes, etc.) as necessary, and commission the new lines. An existing electrical manhole, which has been buried along the path of the subject electrical line, must be updated with a new collar, ring and cover. The new line will be subject to the Pentagon Building Management Office (PBMO) standards.
