As of September 8, 2023, project was awarded to Ascent Foundations & More, LLC, awarded amount is $204,326.66. The City of Selah invites separate sealed BIDS for the construction of the Naches Avenue and City Hall Sidewalk Improvements, HLA Project No 21095A including the following approximate major quantities of work: Sidewalk Improvements including the following major quantities of work: 180 CY excavation, 340 LF curb and gutter, 380 SY 4-Inch Sidewalk, 2 EA ADA ramps, 60 SF retaining wall, stairs, handrail, and related work Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by bond or a certified check, payable to the order of the Treasurer of the City of Selah for the sum of not less than 5% of said bid or proposal and none will be considered unless accompanied by such deposit, to be forfeited to the City of Selah in the event the successful bidder shall fail or refuse to enter into a Contract with the City for the making and construction of the aforesaid improvement. All bids or proposals must be in writing on the form bound in the Specifications, sealed and filed with the Clerk on or before the day and hour above mentioned. Contract time for this project is anticipated to begin by September 5, 2023. The City of Selah reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities or irregularities, and after careful consideration of all bids and factors involved, make the award to best serve the interests of the City of Selah. A Contract Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract Price, with a corporate Surety approved by the owner, will be required for the faithful performance of the Contract.
