Box 1089 Port Arthur, TX 77641 clifton.williams@portarthurtx.gov Fire Station Diesel Exhaust System Requirements 1. System will be installed in five fire stations. 2. Cost will include all Equipment, Material, Labor cost. 3. A non-contact, hoseless system with fire apparatus. 4. Does not require building modifications except for electrical and monitoring systems. 5. Removal of 100% of airborne contamination. 6. Complies with relevant NFPA 1500 standards. 7. Provides for the ability for apparatus to relocate in the bay based on specific situations. 8. Provides continuous filtering of the air in the bay. 9. Connected to a monitoring component that continuously monitors and displays air quality. 10.Monitoring component maintains system operation until atmospheric conditions drop below permissible exposure levels (PEL). 11.System activates automatically whenever an apparatus bay door is opened. 12.Provides multi-directional airflow. 13.An audio or visual notification signal when filters need replacement. 14.Includes installation, wiring, and control panel install. 15.Five-year warranty.
