The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of: (a) Rivergate Drive Outfall (S-MA70053500) (i) Verification of Existing Infrastructure using Soft Digging Methods (ii) Removal of 52.1 meters of existing 1400 mm diameter CMP and 2.9 meters of existing 1350 mm diameter concrete pipe (iii) Supply and Installation of 45.72 meters of new 1520 mm diameter Weholite HDPE RSC250 pipe and 9.28 meters of new 1500 mm diameter CMP (3.5mm) c/w polymer coating (iv) Supply and Installation of Temporary Shoring (v) Construction of two (2) new reinforced concrete collars (vi) Installation of internal slip joint (vii) Re-instatement of Rockfill Shearkey (as required) (viii) Removal and Re-Installation of Existing Debris Grate (ix) Temporary Removal and Re-Installation of Rockfill Riprap (x) Sewer Inspection (xi) Site Restoration The scope of Work included in this specification is as follows: (a) Supply and Install temporary silt fencing at the locations as indicated on the Drawings or as directed by the Contract Administrator, in accordance with the detailed drawing provided, immediately upon completion of the riprap placement and prior to undertaking any other activities on the Site where silt fencing is required. (b) Maintain the silt fencing in serviceable condition throughout the entire duration of activities at the Site where silt fencing is required, including final restoration and cleanup of the construction Site. (c) Remove the silt fencing and restore the area where the fencing was installed, without further disturbing the area and without releasing any deleterious substances to the adjacent watercourse The Bidder shall include in their Bid Submission bid security in the form of a digital bid bond, in the amount of at least ten percent (10%) of the Total Bid Price, and agreement to bond of a company registered to conduct the business of a surety in Manitoba, in Form G1: Bid Bond and Agreement to Bond
