Budget The Department of Natural Resources has budgeted an approximate amount of $164,856.26 for work. Sole Source Justification Per SB21-258, the DNR (in collaboration with Colorado State Forest Service and Colorado Division of Fire Prevention & Control) is statutorily required to complete an Organizational Assessment of the efficiency and effectiveness of state wildfire mitigation programs. Arup US, Inc. was already contracted, following a competitive process, to complete the Organizational Assessment. The contract was in need of extension to amend the services end date and expiration date to 12/31/2023, however due to an administrative error, the agreement was not extended and lapsed as a result. The project is midway, no other vendor could reasonably complete the work without compromising the timelines and goals of this statutorily required project.
