Description

Renovation of a municipal facility in New Ulm, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

**As of November 07, 2023, project was awarded to Viking electric . but awarded amount is not available.** The project consists of furnishing and delivering one (1) 480V, 3 phase, 4 wire, 1600 A, 65 kAIC switchboard, (2) 1600A main circuit breakers with remote open/close capability, (3) VFD motor starters for existing Cooling tower equipment, (2) step-down transformers, and (1) lighting panelboard for the new Cooling Tower electrical building for use at the existing New Ulm power plant facility. Technical specifications for the equipment are included as part of the Specification. NEW ULM PUBLIC UTILITIES COOLING TOWER MCC REPLACEMENT New Ulm Public Utilities in New Ulm, Minnesota will receive sealed bids to furnish and deliver the following equipment: one (1) low voltage switchboard with (2) 1600A main circuit breakers having remote open/close capability, (3) VFD motor controllers, (2) step-down transformers, and (1) lighting panelboard for the new Cooling Tower electrical building. The Bidder shall include evidence of having satisfactorily furnished and delivered similar scope of work for at least three (3) similar installations during the past three (3) years. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in a bid, and to make awards in the interest of the Owner.
