*Award subject to final approval Reference number : 1747495 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2023-08-07 Western Quebec School Board is inviting tenders for the replacement of shock-absorbing surfaces of playgrounds with high-performance wood fiber shock-absorbing surfaces (Engineering fiber wood). The work will be done at École Maniwaki Woodland: 247 des Oblats Street, Maniwaki (Quebec) J9E1G6 . This contract includes the preparation work for the playground, the supply and installation of a 20 mm (3/4'') crushed stone bed, the supply and installation of polyethylene borders or equivalent material, the supply and installation of a geotextile membrane as well as the supply and installation of a damping surface in High Performance Wood Fiber (HPFB). This contract also includes the felling and disposal of two trees that interfere with the playing area (see Appendix B for the location of the trees). Tree stumps must be removed and the resulting voids must be backfilled. This contract includes the supply of materials, installation, labor, tools, travel expenses, and all other related costs to ensure the completion of the project.
