The Tuscaloosa Housing Authority (THA) is seeking responses from qualified firms with demonstrated professional competence, experience, and capacity to provide Professional Environmental Air Quality Testing and Remediation Consulting Services. The intent of this RFQ is to establish and maintain an inventory of qualified firms with the implementation of a Professional Environmental Air Quality Testing and Remediation Consulting Services Roster that will be used to select firms for future assignments. As future projects arise, THA will select a firm from the Roster based upon THA's sole determination of which firm most closely meets the requirements of the particular assignment taking into account such factors as firm specialization, experience, personnel and availability. Upon such determination the THA will negotiate the specific scope of services to be performed and the cost of the work prior to the execution of a contract. If negotiations cannot are unsuccessful, the THA reserves the right to negotiate the work with another firm on the list. In submitting a response to be considered for the Roster Program, the firm acknowledges that there is no guarantee of any work resulting from this RFQ. THA reserves the right to conduct additional Requests for Qualifications for specific projects that THA, at its sole discretion, determines will require specific environmental engineering experience or qualification. Following the initial evaluation of responding firms, any firm may submit a response to this RFQ and potentially qualify for the Roster. This is an Open Roster. his RFQ contains submission requirements and other pertinent information for submitting a proper and complete response.
