The City of Tumwater is requesting proposals from qualified Consultants who are capable of producing pavement ratings using MTC Street Saver(R) software and providing tasks as outlined in this request for proposal. Tumwater intends to hire a qualified Consultant who is capable of determining the pavement condition index (PCI) rating using standard methods as described in the MTC PCI Distress Identification Manuals (AC 4th Ed./PCC 3rd Ed. March 2016) and can enter data into and create budget scenarios using the MTC Street Saver(R) software. These services include, but are not limited to, field rating streets throughout the City of Tumwater, training City staff in the use of MTC Street Saver(R) pavement management system software, providing pavement inspection training to City staff, creating budget scenarios based on input from the City, determining the PCI rating of City arterial roads, and updating the inspected street sections in MTC Street Saver(R). The consultant would be under the direction of the City Transportation Manager. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
