The Regional District of Kootenay Boundary (RDKB) is seeking proposals from experienced and qualified companies/consultants for the development of our Community Wildfire Resiliency Plans for six of our eight municipalities in the Regional District of Kootenay Boundary. The six municipalities include the Village of Fruitvale, the Village of Montrose, the City of Trail, the Village of Warfield, the City of Grand Forks, and the City of Greenwood in accordance with the CWRP 2022 template and guidance document for our regional FireSmart program. The schedule required for the completion of the project is targeted for April 2024, project initiation, and public engagement dates will be determined by the Consultant and RDKB staff. The final draft of CWRP is to be completed by April 15th, 2024 The total budget available for the entire project is capped at $192,000
