Site work for a water / sewer project in Pocono Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
A bid is being requested for the cleaning and epoxy spray coating of eight (8) sanitary sewer manholes. All questions concerning the bid documents, or the project in general, must be submitted through PennBid no later than 5:00 PM, August 15, 2023. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond issued by a Surety licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in the amount of at least 10 percent (10%) of the total bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a Satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond and Labor and Material Bond in an amount of 100% of the contract amount. A Certificate of Insurance showing proof of coverage as specified in the bidding documents must also be submitted. Township reserves the unqualified right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities permitted by law. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a Satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond and Labor and Material Bond in an amount of 100% of the contract amount. All work, except as noted, shall be substantially completed within 60 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Pavement restoration shall comply with PennDOT weather and seasonal limitations. Permanent seeding work shall be performed only between April 1st and May 31st or August 31 stand October 15th.
