Site work for a water / sewer project in Quincy, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of January 31, 2024, the project has been awarded, however, a timeline for construction has not been confirmed. The City of Quincy's MU 021 Project consists of removing and replacing 444 feet of 10 inch sanitary sewer force main along the west side of North 24th Street (IL 96) south of Ellington Road. The work includes 0.7 acres of tree removal, 3740 cu yds of earth excavation, erosion control, seeding, and related improvements. The City Council of Quincy reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities. No bid may be withdrawn after the time for opening of the bids is past. The City of Quincy is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer and encourages minority group participation in the bidding and construction process. Bidders are notified that not less than the prevailing wage rate as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor shall be paid to all workers performing work under this contract.
