SCOPE OF CIVIL WORK: The project involves the construction of the civil site work for a 274,000 SF industrial building located at the MidAmerica Industrial Park. The scope of work for the site civil bid package includes but is not limited to the following: EARTHWORK: Clearing and grubbing of the site; Demolishing existing structures and disposing of debris properly; Excavation and backfill for foundations, trenches, and utilities; Grading and leveling to achieve the required elevations and contours; Erosion and sediment control measures. STORMWATER MANAGEMENT: Installation of stormwater management systems (e.g., retention/detention basins, swales, culverts); Implementation of best management practices (BMPs) for stormwater runoff control. UTILITIES: Installation of water supply and distribution systems; Installation of sanitary sewer collection systems; Installation of stormwater drainage systems, Coordination with relevant authorities for utility connections and permits. ROADWAYS AND PAVEMENTS: Construction of access roads, driveways, and parking lots as per engineering and municipal requirements; Installation of curbs, gutters, and sidewalks for pedestrian safety; Striping and signage for traffic control.
