Demolition of 316 East Chestnut--Community Correctional Center Demolition and disposal of two existing buildings connected by an atrium at 316 E Chestnut Street, Louisville, KY 40202. The Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government ("Metro Government") is now accepting Proposals for Demolition of 316 East Chestnut Steet. The process of accepting Proposals and choosing the successful proposer shall be by sealed Requests for Proposals ("RFP's") using the competitive negotiation process under KRS 45A.370. The Metro Government, if it chooses to award a contract based on this Proposal, shall do so on the basis of the Proposal which is most advantageous to it based upon the Evaluation Criteria set forth herein. All insurance requirements including performance and payment bonds shall be furnished the day a contract issued pursuant to this Proposal is awarded. Estimated project completion date is September 2024. The Supplier shall procure and maintain insurance policies as described herein and for which Metro Government shall be furnished Certificates of Insurance upon the execution of the Contract. The Certificates shall include the name and address of the person executing the Certificate of Insurance as well as the person's signature. If policies expire before the completion of the Contract, renewal Certificates of Insurance shall be furnished to Metro Government at least fifteen (15) days prior to the expiration of any policy(s). The committee may carry out contract negotiations for the purpose of obtaining best and final offers, terms, and conduct detailed reference checks on the short listed vendors. The Metro Government reserves the right to contact respondents with requests for clarification.
