Site work, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Powell River, British Columbia. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; for the construction of a water / sewer project; and playground / park / athletic field.
91318 - Westview New washroom building and waiting area, existing waiting room renovation, traffic safety improvements project. 91206 - Earls Cove, Replace waiting room and washrooms, sewage treatment, water supply upgrade. The Westview terminal is located in the center of Powell River at the northern end of the Sunshine Coast. It is located on the Malaspina Strait, part of the Strait of Georgia, on the northern Sunshine Coast and provides connections to Texada Island and Vancouver Island. The Earls Cove terminal is located on the Jervis Inlet at the northern end of the Sechelt Peninsula on the Sunshine Coast, at the terminus of Highway 101, which is also known as the Sunshine Coast Highway. TIMELINE: Project has been deferred. Construction tender timelines are undetermined. Further update in late summer 2026, upon budget approvals.
