Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Garner, North Carolina. Design plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; road / highway; and for outdoor lighting for a road / highway.
The Town will pay for voluntary improvements, known as betterments, on certain NCDOT projects. These include the addition of sidewalk and lighting conduit for street lighting during the replacement of the NC 50 bridge over US-70 (B-4654) and the widening of US 401 (U-5302). As of August 30, 2024, this project is included in the Town of Garner's FY-2025-2029 Capital Improvement Plan and funding is allotted for FY 2025. Design is being done in-house by NCDOT. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
