St. Mary's County Public Schools (SMCPS) is requesting price quotes for the material, service, tools, delivery, and labor required to perform annual heating oil tank spill bucket inspection and testing at various sites. Perform hydrostatic testing of 21 spill buckets as prescribed by Maryland Department of Environment, at the locations indicated in Attachment 1. Acquire or possess appropriate permits to perform this work: A Maryland certified Underground Storage System Technician in compliance with COMAR 26.10.06; A Maryland certified Underground Storage System Inspector in compliance with COMAR 26.10.06; or certified UST system tester: That performs an approved third party test method; and has a valid certification from the manufacture of the approved third party test method at the time of the test; and is employed by a UST testing company recognized by the Department on its list of approved UST test methods. Keep all areas safe and secured (i.e. manholes, tops, gates, lids, etc.) All areas must be secured before leaving any site. All sites must be completed within 90 days from the date the Purchase Order is issued All questions with regard to this RFQ in writing to mburroughs@smcps.org no later than Thursday August 3, 2023 by noon.
