Site work and paving for a municipal facility in Cumberland, Rhode Island. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility; and for paving for a municipal facility.
**As of August 31, 2023 , This project has been awarded to Turfscape LLC, with the awarded amount of $55,895.70.** The Town of Cumberland is requesting cost proposals from qualified firms to provide materials and labor to implement the following scope of work Construction Work: Remove existing weeds, regrade the area, and spread loam (loam to be supplied by the Cumberland Highway Department). Saw Cutting Existing Pavement: Install sleeve, backfill, and patch with asphalt. Sprinkler/Irrigation Installation: An irrigation system will need to be installed. No irrigation currently exists on site. The vendor would need to tie into current water systems and install irrigation systems appropriate for the location. The vendor will be required to train staff on the system's proper use and basic maintenance items. Sod Installation Mulch Bed Installation: Two mulch beds with plants and much. Question Deadline: 08/02/2023 at 2:00 PM ET A bidder must furnish a Bid Bond or Certified Check for 5% of his bid, or for the stated amount shown in the solicitation. The Town of Cumberland reserves the right to accept or reject, without prejudice, all bids to waive any irregularities therein, or to accept the proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Cumberland.
