Renovation of a fire / police facility in Cumberland, Rhode Island. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

The Town of Cumberland is requesting cost proposals from qualified firms to execute the following scope of work for the replacement and installation of a new gate at the Cumberland Public Safety Complex. o Removal of Existing Structure: Take down the ornamental steel double swing gate and small gate, remove, and dispose of the two (2) existing gate posts. o Furnish and Installation: Install two (2) 6" X 12; S40 Square steel posts primed and painted black. o Rehang: Rehang existing panels and double gate (1-single gate, 1-gate leaf). o Asphalt: The contractor shall asphalt areas that are disturbed. o Landscape: Contractor shall loom and seed areas that are disturbed. Questions concerning this RFP must be emailed to Deputy Chief Matthew Alves at malves@cumberlandpolice.com . All questions must be received by 2:00 PM on 08/01/2023 to be considered. Responses to all questions, and any changes made to this RFP, will be provided as an addendum and posted on the Town's webpage at electronically When requested, a bidder must furnish a Bid Bond or Certified Check for 5% of his bid, or for the stated amount shown in the solicitation. Bid Bonds must be executed by a reliable Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of Rhode Island. Failure to provide Bid Surety with bid may be cause for rejection of bid.
