Site work for a mixed-use development in Saint Charles, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a residential development; and road / highway.

The project shall include all work incidental to the construction of a green vinyl coated steel chain link fence. Mobilization, grading and other miscellaneous restoration will be considered incidental to the project, no direct payment will be made. The proposal shall be accompanied by bid bond, cashier's check or certified check for an amount not less than five percent of the bid amount. A bond will be required for the full amount of the contract price with a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Missouri and satisfactory to the County, conditioned for the faithful performance of this contract and the guarantee of the work. A bond will be required for the full amount (100 percent Labor and Material) of the contract price with a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Missouri and satisfactory to the County, conditions for the faithful payment of this Contract. Bidder must agree to not commence work prior to the date to be specified in written "Notice to Proceed" from the County and to fully complete within thirty (60) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. The County plans to issue the Notice to Proceed on or about September 1, 2023. If the contract work is not fully completed according to the terms of the contract within the time limit specified, the contractor shall pay to the County, as liquidated damages, a sum equal to three hundred ($300.00) dollars per day for each calendarday until the job is 100% completed, accepted, and approved by the Engineer. The wage rates applicable to this project have been predetermined as required by law and are set forth in this document. The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids or proposals submitted, or to advertise for new bids.
