Renovation of a power facility in Syracuse, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.

The Onondaga County Department of Emergency Communications is seeking a vendor to furnish, install, and integrate a standby generator at various remote communications tower sites located throughout the County of Onondaga and contiguous counties. The generator is intended for emergency stand-by use in a mission critical, public safety grade communications system and therefore shall be of industrial grade. Units considered residential or home standby generators will not be considered. The generator shall have a rated capacity of 30 Kilowatts (30kW), liquid cooled, and operate on liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) fuel. The generator shall have an enclosure of a suitable construction which will allow the generator to be installed outdoors and protect all components from the elements as well as impervious to rodent penetration and infestation. The generator shall be capable of operating in extreme cold environments. The generator shall be installed on a concrete pad, installed by others, and connected to the existing electrical utility system via customer installed conduits. The generator shall be connected to and be fully compatible with an existing ASCO Power Technologies Series 300 Power Transfer Switch. The successful bidder land all dry contact alarm points using factory approved cable to a customer supplied terminal via customer installed conduit. The successful bidder shall provide all equipment to complete all factory start-up and customer training procedures.
