Contract Term: 60 Consecutive Calendar Days Bids Are Being Sought From Contractors to Provide All Labor, Materials and Equipment Required for Repainting of All Yellow and Black Taxiway Markings in Accordance With the Terms and Conditions and Specifications Set Forth in These Specifications. The Taxiways Are Located on the Delaware Coastal Airport Main Aircraft Apron and Various Other Movement Areas That Routinely Support the Movement of Various Propeller and Jet Aircraft Operations. Each Bid Must Be Accompanied by a Bid Guarantee Equivalent to Ten (10) Percent of the Amount of the Base Bid and All Alternates. The Bid Guarantee May Be a Certified Check or a Bid Bond Secured by a Surety Authorized to Do Business in Delaware. The Bid Guarantee Shall Be Made Payable to Sussex County Council. Contractors Should Visit the Site at Their Earliest Convenience to Familiarize Themselves With the Entirety of Proposed Work. All Contractor Questions Must Be Submitted in Writing to Robert Bryant of the Delaware Coastal Airport at Robert.bryant@sussexcountyde.gov No Later Than Five (5) Business Days Prior to the Bid Opening. If the Responding Contractor Deems Any Portion of Its Response to Contain Trade Secrets, Proprietary or Other Confidential Information, It Shall Isolate and Identify in Writing the Confidential Portions, Together With a Statement in Support of Its Designation as Such. The Submission Shall Be Confidential Until the Bid Has Been Awarded and a Contract Has Been Executed. Thereafter, All Submissions Shall Be Open to Public Inspection. Federal or State Scale Wage Rates Are Not Applicable on This Project. Liquid Asphalt Cement Cost Adjustment and Diesel Fuel Index Are Not Applicable to This Project.
