Renovation of a water / sewer project in North Attleboro, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Work in this Section includes all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary to furnish completely and install all Plumbing Systems as specified herein, and in general as follows 1. Disconnect, make safe, cut and cap, and demolish existing equipment, piping and appurtenances as may be required to accommodate the new work. This Contractor shall be responsible for removal and disposal of all debris generated by the demolition of the plumbing systems. 2. Remove and replace kitchen & laundry riser shut-off valves and drain valves. 3. Hot and cold-water distribution System, including, piping, valves, insulation and associated accessories. 4. Testing and sterilization. 5. Operating instructions, maintenance manuals, and Record Drawings. 6. Obtain and pay for all inspections, licenses, and approvals required by Governing Authorities and install all work in compliance thereof. The Contractor shall obtain and the Owner shall pay for all necessary permits. The Contractor shall perform all Work required by the Contract Documents for Shut-off Valve Replacement prepared by the C.A. Crowley Engineering, Inc. acting as and referred to in the Contract Documents as the Prime Designer. Replacement of existing kitchen water supply riser shut-off and drain valves.
