Site work for a water / sewer project in Rexburg, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of replacement of small sections of sewer lines throughout the City including restorative surface work, adjusting a manhole to grade, and installing a new manhole on an existing service. Each Proposal must be submitted on the prescribed form and be accompanied by a certified cashier's check or bid bond executed on the prescribed form payable to the City of Rexburg Idaho in an amount not less than 5% of the amount bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a performance and Payment Bond, each in the amount not less than 100% of the Contract price. The City reserves the right to reject all Proposals or any Proposal not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Bid Documents. It is agreed that the sum of five percent (5%) of the bid, deposited here within. accordance with the conditions of the Contract documents, may be retained by the City of Rexburg as liquidated damages as a fair measure of the damages that the City of Rexburg will sustain if Bidder fails or refuses to enter into the Contract for the work and to furnish the payment and Performance Bonds as specified in the Contract documents.
