Renovation of a detention facility in Bad Axe, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Huron County reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Huron County will be accepting proposals for the Huron County Courthouse and Jail Facility Emergency Generator Project in accordance with the Specifications set forth. Base Bid - Remove and properly dispose of existing diesel emergency generator and above ground tank - Furnish and Install new 650kw Natural Gas Generator - Furnish and install (2) new generator connection cabinets. - Furnish and install (1) new exterior automatic transfer switches. - Furnish and install new natural gas service and feed to new generator. - Furnish and install new exhaust stack from generator to a location up above the existing roof line. - Furnish and install new frost free foundation for new generator and ATS. - Provide a crane suitable to lift generator over jail facility and into place in the existing courtyard between the jail and the courthouse. - Provide and conduct outage planning meetings and installation procedures with the intent to minimize power outages to the existing jail and courthouse.
