The bidder must be able to perform the services and furnish the goods necessary to meet or exceed all requirements described in this IFB. Bids received from persons or entities that do not meet the solicitation requirements will be deemed non-responsive. The DBE Participation Goal for this project is 12.5%. The project consists of complete site work and traffic control including, but not limited to: Construction of concrete sidewalks, pedestrian ramps, painted crosswalks and utility coordination and necessary utility adjustments along Alpine Road. Also included in this project is the resurfacing on Alpine Road from the intersection with SC 12 (Percival Road) to US 1 (Two Notch Road). Exceptions to the resurfacing limits will be (1 ) between the CSX Railroad R/W near Two Notch Rd, (2) from New Way Rd to Polo Rd near I-20, and (3) from STA 15+39.21 to STA 23+25.37 near Old Percival Roundabout. The Project Documents shall consist of drawings prepared by Mead & Hunt, Inc and all related SCDOT Standard Specifications for Highway Construction (2007 edition). C. Work shall inlude all labor, equipment and materials necessary to construct all of the work in a craftman like manner D. The project shall be Substantially Complete within two hundred and fifty (250) days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. E. All changes to the bid documents will be addressed through addendum. Each bidder shall fully acquaint himself with conditions relating to the scope and restrictions attending the execution of the work under the conditions of this bid. The failure or omission of a bidder to acquaint himself with existing conditions shall in no way relieve him of any obligation with respect to this bid or to the contract.
