Project Description: The project involves construction of a new wastewater pump station consisting of mobilization and demobilization, site clearing, site staking, excavation and grading, bypass pumping, extension of existing sewer into the pump station site, installation of a grinder chamber with dual grinders, installation of a wet well with a triplex submersible pump system, installation of a valve vault and associated piping and valves, a flow meter vault, installation of electrical and control equipment, installation of diesel engine generator, excavation for and installation of below grade concrete emergency storage tank, hauling and disposal of excess material, site yard piping and valves, site concrete paving, site fencing, site storm water management facilities, finish grading, erosion control and site stabilization, and all related appurtenances for a complete and functioning system. Contractor providing the utility work must have a current valid Utility Contractors License. All Bidders are required to submit a Bid Bond or a certified check made payable to the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. The Bid Bond or certified check must be enclosed in the envelope with the sealed bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a contract Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the sum of 100% of the total amount bid and provide insurance coverage as required by the contract documents.
